Posting a job is free. You only pay when you accept an offer and book someone.

Are all helpers verified?

No — and we don't pretend otherwise. Badges appear only where something has actually been checked or supplied, such as identity, an ABN, insurance, a police check or a Working With Children Check. Everything else is up to you to weigh up from profiles, reviews and messages.

What's the difference between an Everyday Helper and a Qualified Care Provider?

An Everyday Helper is an individual offering practical help such as shopping, errands, gardening or cleaning. A Qualified Care Provider has supplied care-related qualifications or checks. We never imply an unqualified person can provide regulated care.

Do I need a separate account for the app and the website?

No. One account works everywhere — the website and the mobile apps share the same login and the same data.

How do payments work?

You pay securely through our payment provider when you book. The money is held by At Home Concierge and only released to your helper once the job is done and you confirm it. Card details are handled entirely by the payment provider and are never stored by us.

What does At Home Concierge charge?

Posting a job is free. We take a 15% commission out of the helper's payment on a completed booking — so on a $100 booking the customer pays $100, the helper receives $85. It's set out in our Terms & Conditions.

Can businesses use the platform?

Yes. Businesses get leads, quotes, team members, availability and analytics in their own dashboard.

What if something goes wrong?

Message the other person through the platform first. If it can't be resolved you can raise a dispute or report the user, and our team will review it.

Is At Home Concierge the employer of helpers?

No. Helpers and businesses are independent — we're the marketplace that connects you and handles the booking and payment.
